With 101 beers on tap, how can you go wrong? Great variety of beers on tap, and the bartender was quite knowledgeable about what was available. We sampled a variety of different types of beers, and found what we were interested in. I had heard about their chicken and waffle sandwich, which I had to order just because of its uniqueness. While not my normal fare, it was quite good, and it quickly disappeared. My wife ordered the grilled tuna salad. She thought the outside of the tuna was overcooked, with the inside undercooked, for her liking. Other than that, she liked her salad. It is a good place to visit, especially if you have get there during happy hour.
One of the-if not THE best burger in town. The burger was so big I could barely squeeze it. We also the Freud mushrooms which were perfect warm up. We also outside enjoyed the weather. There's nothing a good meal in downtown mobile.
If you are looking for a great burger and a cold beer you can't wrong with Loda. They have one of the best craft beer selections in town. Our server promptly came over took our order and made several suggestions. I will definitely be back to try some of the other burger options.
Went on a Saturday night. Service was a bit slow but we sat upstairs, so I could have gotten really busy downstairs. I enjoyed the watermelon margaritas, the fried pickles and pickled fried cauliflower was amazing too!
Whenever we are in Mobile, this is one of our stops. It is a funky/eclectic bar with an amazing selection of beer. When you walk in, you wouldn't expect the place to have good food, but they do. Their burgers are big and juicy. Their salads are fresh. There is never a time of day that it isn't crowded. Because it is so crowded, it is a tad loud, but the ambiance makes up for that.
I don't know enough to give 5 stars but what I saw and tasted was enough to get at least 4. I will only speak on what I tried. I met friends here AFTER I had already eaten dinner. But they insisted I try the pretzel. My intent was to be polite and taste a sample but in reality, it was so D*%# good I had to finish it! I'm told they are made fresh in the premises. The beer menu was extensive but I never developed the taste of beer .However, they also had ciders on the menu too and would give samples so you could try before you buy. The blackberry, pumpkin, and apple caramel ciders were amazing! Next one I come, I will sample more food, not just the pretzel! Come check this place out!
I've eaten here a number of times, usually trying one of their burgers or having a steak salad. I've tried a number of the different burgers that they've had. They're all very good. The steak salad is also very good with a good size steak portion, and good steak. I've never had bad service, but it does tend to slow down a little bit when it's busier and they only keep one bartender at a time
We had the most phenomenal time at Loda! The inside is super funky and cool and the menu is incredible. The chicken and waffle sandwich, french fries and southwest chicken egg rolls were incredible. The strawberry margarita was veryyy sweet (I'm a fan of sweet drinks but know not everyone is).
